This weekend the SBWA will host its annual awards dinner, and all of the major winners will be there to receive their trophies for their outstanding achievements this past season. |  | Friday, September 24th, 2010: Top EL Pitcher Announced The Eastern League made the official announcement today. The 2010 Eastern League EL Pitcher of the Year went to Josh Tomlin of Akron. He had a superlative season, chalking up a fine 19-6 won-lost mark with an impressive 2.26 ERA. It was quite a performance by the 26-year-old hurler. Tomlin logged 30 starts, 227 IP, 161 HA, 159 K, 54 BB, and .198 OBA.
